The Student Parliament is the topmost student political body at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
The Student Parliament consists of 25 elected students. All students at NMBU have the right to speak and propose points, but only the elected representatives have the right to vote.
The Student Parliament:
- work to protect the students' interests in matters regarding them at the university and other relevant arenas
- appoints students representatives to a number of councils, boards and committees at the University
