The Embassy of India in Stockholm represents the Republic of India in Sweden and Latvia. Our embassy works to develop and sustain the important and long-standing relationship between Sweden and India as well as with Latvia. We are dealing with a wide range of political, commercial, security and economic questions of interest and also help to promote trade and investment between Sweden and India. We also provide consular assistance to people in both Sweden and Latvia.

NRI/PIO Welfare officer
Mr. Vijai Kumar (First Secretary, Commerce and Head of Chancery) has been appointed as Welfare Officer for NRIs/PIOs in Sweden/Latvia. He will be accessible to all members of NRI/PIO community in Sweden/Latvia for redressal of their grievances.
Ambassador and other officers of this Embassy on first Wednesday of every month will have an Open Day for meeting the members of NRI/PIO Community between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
