The brewery is located on Alnön, a beautiful island in the archipelago of Sundsvall. The island is known by its nickname of being northern Sweden’s equivalent to Hawaii, has one of the best drinking water in Europe, and – believe it or not – is known to have diamonds. It seems there are more than one type of gems to be found on the island of Alnön.
